As we partner with churches and other organisations to reach out to love the people of our nation, we want to see more people empowered into outreach. We want to establish teams, before, during and after the 2012 Games, with a vision to continue to impact the communities Forever,” states their vision for starting Forever project.
The YWAM Newcastle team with Bjarte and Andrew are a part of Forever. They help coordinating the Olympic Outreaches in Newcastle, including our Mission Adventures outreach in July. They carry the same vision as the Forever team ”Using the 2012 Olympic Games as a catalyst to release teams across the UK demonstrating Christ through continuing outreach“.
The Newcastle team has a lot of support from YWAM England and the Forever team, for instance they receive several DTS (Discipleship Training School) outreach teams. In fact, right now there is a team from YWAM Harpenden (England). The DTS team is working closely together with different local churches to support and give a helping hand in reaching the community.
